In my painting i work with elements and fragments of environments or landscapes I have been to and a tradition of color field painting. The elements in painting consists of lightness, darkness, color and atmosphere. I define painting as a tradition of slowness, patience and uncertainty and argue that it’s about the light. Painting is about perceiving the quality of light that emanates from the painting itself.
